The Office of Online Learning’s Proctoring service IS NOT a walk-in service. Appointments are not taken via telephone and an application must be submitted. The Office of Online Learning IS NOT THE SAME as the Testing Center. We do not administer any of the National Exams. i.e. the PRAXIS, GRE, TOEFL, GMAT, etc. Please call the Testing Center at 601-266-6123 for these exams. GED exams are given at the Community Colleges.
Students who take a proctored exam must provide a form of photo identification. Acceptable forms of photo identification include a valid state-issued driver’s license, government-issued photo identification, or a Southern Miss identification card. More information about purchasing a Southern Miss identification card is available at usm.edu/image-center/student-id-card.
All proctoring fees must be paid at the time the application is submitted. Payments can be made by debit / credit card only. Southern Miss Students will no longer be able to charge the proctoring fees to their student account.
